There are Different Types of Apostilles
We obtain an Apostille on your personal or commercial document by submitting it to the Secretary of State or to the US Department of State in Washington DC, depending on which type of Apostille is needed.
Apostille from the Secretary of State
If your documents are personal or commercial documents, they are submitted by us to the Secretary of State's office in Washington DC to obtain the Apostille.
- Personal and Commercial documents
- Generally obtained in about 2-3 business days
- Cost is $65 per document (includes the Notarization—$5 and Secretary of State—$15 fees)
Some examples of documents which fall in this category include:
Diplomas, Transcripts, Powers of Attorney (Personal and Commercial), Commercial Agreements, and Birth/Marriage certificates (only applicable for certain states, please contact us for more info)
Apostille from the US Department of State
If you need an Apostille on documents issued by US Federal agencies, then we obtain the Apostille from the US Department of State.
- Processing times can be verified from the office of authentications Website
- Cost is $55 per document, which includes the $8 department fee
